I was having issues with the MythTV backend locking up and having a lot
of mysql processes with a status of waiting for metadata lock. This
seems to have been caused by autocommit=false (which I believe is new
with MySQL 5.5). The MythTV 0.25 seems to have avoided this

directory, which is mounted using nfs. Since root doesn't have access

The fix seems to have worked. There is no /etc/init.d/nis and no error.
The package has installed without error and is functional.

I have the same issue.
I have sound with other applications.
I have the same audio issue with flash whether it's in firefox, chrome or opera.
Sometimes I'll have the video play without audio, other times it will
play with audio for the first few seconds and then stop. If I move the
