I'm also affected by this bug. Is there any temporary workaround? The
phone is hardly usable if it's not possible to make calls or send sms.
Or is a fix going to be released in the near future? Thank you!

Title:
gnome-pie is not working!
To manage
Hey there! Thanks for the report. Maybe you should try a newer version
of Gnome-Pie! There had been some bugs fixed.
You can download it from my PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:simonschneegans/testing
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-pie
If this does not help, we'll have to
There is a good chance of this bug being fixed already in the newest
version of Gnome-Pie! Feel free to add the PPA
ppa:simonschneegans/testing to your system, update Gnome-Pie and report
back!

I can add: This also affects GTK2 applications! In my opninion it's a
very severe bug!
I'm developing an application (It's compatible to GTK2 and GTK3 and this
problem persists regardless of the GTK version used) and I want to
prevent users doing some nasty stuff while the dialog is opened. This
I installed the patched version of compiz and used it for some hours.
My system:
- 64 bit natty
- NVIDIA Driver Version: 280.13
- Graphics Processor: GeForce GT 425M
And sadly, nothing changed for me:
- moving wobbly windows is still very sluggish from time to time (as well as
moving desktop
Well, the problem returned. After some hours of using compiz, wobbly
window movement became choppy again. A compiz --replace helps for some
time, but after some time working, moving windows will become quite
annoying again.
For this bug, disabling alpha blur had the same effect as restarting
I'm experiencing this too. Ubuntu 11.04, 64 bits and proprietary Nvidia
drivers.
I just disabled alpha blur in compiz, enabled vsync in the nvidia
settings and everything works fine for an unusual time now... maybe
that's a hint...
