sorry for jumping the gun on this. i searched for some more large files
and there was sneaky file hiding from me. i deleted it and and
everything looked great. thanks for responding to this!

I might be wrong on this... is the duplicate file really reported twice?
i created another file that's 1G and it shows it twice (once in it's
real name and once in it's encrypted name) but df -h only increased by
1G instead of 2G.
