After searching the internet I found out that connecting via the shell while defining Local Port 1 in the vpnc.conf did the trick. But there's nowhere in the gui of network-manager a place to define the local port, i think? -- Cannot make vpnc connection via wifi

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vpnc I can make a vpn-connection (from the shell or via network-manager applet) when I'm connected to the internet with a wire, but not when I'm connected via wireless. The VPN login failed because the VPN program could not connect to the VPN server.
