Well now, that is one old bug I reported.
The 'powerd down, remove battery, restart it all' workaround didn't quite fix
it for me but it was no big deal otherwise.
And since the laptop had died since then I have no problem if we close this bug.

Last weekend I received an update to kernel 4.4.0 and that does seem to solve

Logging was already on as requested, I can clear the log and get myself
invitations for events in several calendars associated with different
mail addresses. No problemo.
But how do I copy/paste from the error log, or save/export that, or find
the logfile??

Yup, it does still happen. I just checked and it's a constant 4 messages per
second filling up the logs.
I can do the workaround as described above in #72 which may or may not make it
go away for a while.
Right now I'm not in a position to go testing alternative kernels. This

I notice several regressions in the GUI:
- special maps (drafts, sent, spam, deleted) have lost their special icon, they

Been using this fix for about a week now. The whole GUI is a lot more
responsive. It seems to solve a lot of the lag / hangs in accessing menus and
especially when working in LO Calc (mainly when changing cell formats in pretty
large worksheets with a lot of formulas).

Lightning is virtually unusable now. Sending invitations and confirmations are

Issue can be replicated on multiple machines, using both Win7 and Ubuntu 12.04
as OS.
Current version of Lightning still has this problem.
Status should be 'confirmed', but I can only choose between unconfirmed and
resolved. Neither seems corect.
Affected versions are both 1.8 and 1.9.

This is creating quite a mess since my calendars are on a Sogo server and the
incorrect usern...@domain.nl causes all invitations and replies to fall in the
catch-all (i...@domain.nl) which means a whole group of users get

I installed the latest versions of T'bird (13.0.1) and Lightning (1.5.2) on a
Win 7 box and got exactly the same results. If anything, that rules out the OS
and build.

So here's one.
In fact this one is taken from my laptop which runs Precise AMD64. Same story.
Did a scan of 3 pages in one go, last one stayed stuck 90% out. Led kept
blinking as in 'busy'.
Saved the scan, paper stayed stuck. Closed Simplescan, paper gets thrown out.
Message pops up as expected
Oh, forgot to mention this: once an event is placed in the wrong calendar, I
can't move it to the right one. I did try to copy/paste it and then delete the
original event, but in doing so I suddenly became organizer of the new copied
event.
Obviously that gave me control over what calendar to

I now do have a mailbox for the sales@... account and it is bound to the
sales-calendar as it should. Makes no difference though: there is no telling to
what calendars / accounts an incoming invitation will be related.

number of pages. So far, only SimpleScan exhibits this behaviour.
Only after I select 'new scan' or close SimpleScan the last page is thrown out

Did an in-place upgrade from Natty amd64 today on my Dell Latitude 131L.
Two failures: b43fwcutter and flashplugin-installer.
After plugging in a lan wire I could easily reinstall b43fwcutter and
firmware-b43-installer which restored my wifi in seconds.
I noticed

Installed Oneiric from CD onto one of my machines with dmraid (theone
with the Promise Fasttrak100 chipset). The live CD found all partitions
OK and offered to upgrade the existing 10.10 Maverick installation. So
far, so good.
At the end of the process grub-installer tried to set up grub

Still looking to make some time so I can get those debugging logs as
promised, but it's quite busy over here.

Nope, no kpartx installed.
Tried booting with the options you gave me, saw about 10 seconds and
hundreds of udev messages flash by and then it froze.

Booted off a Natty daily usb (looking nice!) in order to have Gparted
0.7 which handles dmraid correctly.
Shrunk / fs and formatted to ext4.
Created an ext4 primary partition to be used as

set.
From Lucid to Maverick was an inplace upgrade through upgrade manager.
That left the machine non bootable so I put a USB stick in and booted
Natty server (32-bits). Installed Natty from the stick but

day, go into recovery mode and load whatever updates there are and hope for the
best. I've got no idea what caused this intermittent issue to become a complete

another, non identical, system has same issue.
