Britt, I think that the requirement to apply pressure on the launcher
to reveal it is by design and it's not a bug. There is even an option to
adjust panel sensitivity.
However, bahaviour reported by Ryan, Tobias and gt5driver is certainly
not by design. It affects me as well since I upgraded to

try commenting out everything in /etc/network/interfaces except lo
parts (I presume you don't use anything else in there and that all your
