Well, first of all, thanks for not closing this bug depiste I reported
it some 5 odd years ago !
In 5 years the following changes have happened :
1) I regularly upgraded Ubuntu, but the bug got worse : instead of
reporting constantly a 22 Deg temperature, it now reports nothing at all
Forgot : I did try this appor-collect thingy you mentionned, but
unfortunately it crashed, sorry.

I am sorry but apport collect keeps on craching, it's hopeless.

I am currently using Ubuntu 9.04, my old analog TV tuner card has always
worked just fine since Ubuntu's inception, however 9.04 is now

My printer is anb HP LaserJet 6P, for which there are no less than 15 drivers
(no kidding) I can choose from.
The one that the system picked up didn't work (no idea which on it was). So I
went to try different drivers until one of them works.

I can't tell about Jaunty as it's not released yet so I can't test.
However I am on 8.10 now, and epiphany doesn't crash anymore on this web

epiphany-gecko crashed with SIGSEGV
Yes, the patch to reduce CPU resources was not successful in my case
(uses 50% CPU then slowly progresses up to 100%, over a period of on
eminute or so), but a nice side effect is that the graphs now scroll
smoothly, cool ! :-)
So, this bug can be closed :-)

Backtrace attached.
However, despite I installed the debug symbols/packages for epipnany-
gecko as well as epiphany -gecko-extensions, well despite that, when I
asked gdb for the backtrace, as you can see from the log, it complained
that there was NO degug symbols ?! How comes ? :-/

YES, sda2 was mounted you are right... but it was mounted BY ACCIDENT, when I
clicked on it in Nautilus a few days ago (I had forgotten about it, oops),
because I was trying to find another partition, and since they now all have
useless names (XX Media), I had to
Sorry, I forgot to reply to your old question:
does mounting those under mnt rather than media do what you want?
I tried that: I mounted one of the partitions, remounted it under /mnt,
but the problem is that Nautilus doesn't pick it up, it doesn't display
it. I tried killing then restarting

Well, the bug title says it all:

In this case, sda2 is not mounted because I don't want to see it listed
since I don't use it, but Nautilus shows it to me anyway, which clutters
