Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: conky
When I launch Conky from terminal it should draw itself to the screen
and provide output of the my conkyrc script being run. However on the
latest updates of Karmic (13/10/09) the whole system freezes up and I
receive no putput in the terminal.
Sorry I forgot to add package version here it is.

Pedro
I did the following:
1. Start brasero with you're command ( not with the --debug argument,
because it segfaulted right away)
2. Select Burn Image and selected the disk image
3. Insert the empty disc, which is displayed and mounted on the desktop.
Brasero tells me there is no writable cd
I don't think so, because my error message states a permission denied at the
error message when creating the image in /var/lib/libvirt/images/.
Unable to complete install 'type 'exceptions.RuntimeError' Couldn't create
storage volume 'test.img': 'cannot create path
I will do that when I come home from work. I have been looking for a
debug argument on brasero, but could not find it. I'll post the
results as soon as possible.

I am running Karmic on a 64 bits Acer Aspire AWXMi. When I try to burn a .toc
file to an empty disc I can select the .toc file , but brasero says there is no
empty disc in the tray. I have tryed to re-insert the empty disc, but brasero

Testing above with a .iso file does work.

if you sync your time with ntp you have to re-open adjust date time option

I have a brand new install of Karmic alpha 3, but my time zone crashes. This
looks like regression, because I did not have this issue on jaunty. The world
map is black with yellow dots and the list with timezones is empty. After
opening that selection list, time-admin crashes.
Attachements show
My bad:
Bug is also in Karmic Alpha 3 on x64.
