I have not been running Unity 3D for the past week or so (switched over
to GNOME Shell on my desktop), but when I last used it everything seemed
fine performance-wise except the lenses being just slightly slow and the
Alt+Tab window switcher performing so slowly as to be almost painful
Eventually I got fed up with Banshee and switched over to Rhythmbox. The
latter does not have the same stability issues (i.e., I can actually
listen to my music or online radio for longer than 10-20 minutes at a
time), not to mention I appreciate Rhythmbox's better GNOME Shell
integration.

Should a new bug be reported regarding that? I'd say GNOME Shell would
also be affected.

reproduce and seem to happen completely at random. As such, I have not

I can confirm the error dialog is now working, but what about the
conflicts preventing Labyrinth from installing? I liked using this
software back in Natty, but it's somewhat disappointing that I can't
install it in Oneiric even when it's listed in the Software Center. Does

had finished browsing some stuff with Firefox, then minimized it to see
the crash window.

Just happened again in Oneiric Beta 2 while browsing wallpapers in
System Settings, causing my HPLIP tray icon to disappear. I'd say this
is probably the most common crash I'm seeing on my system now. hplip
version 3.11.7-1ubuntu3.

I can confirm this. I now do have Thunderbird with Lightning 1.0b7
installed and working, but it still won't show in Default Applications.
This seems like a regression from Natty where Evolution supported
calendars (including Google Calendar) right out of the box, while
Thunderbird needs a plugin
It's still not working for me. Just applied the latest updates and
rebooted, yet my address book in Thunderbird still only shows as
contacts the few people who I've been entering in my To fields manually.
Nothing from neither Google Contacts nor Ubuntu One contacts (although
