Thanks, errorfinder99, but the modprobe -a ehci_hcd isn't working for
me:
(interestingly, the webcam works the FIRST TIME I use it after a kernel
upgrade(? - seems this way), but then crashes everytime.)

Had this issue in 9.04, was under the impression that the 2.6.32.2
kernel would fix it (tried that custom kernel with 9.04 per Bug 462336,
and webcam worked, but wireless didn't..)

Yep, Alt+Tab switches back and forth at an amazing speed when a
fullscreen application is open. I tried it with BabyType under wine
(fullscreen) and Movie Player fullscreen on a FRESH (couple hour old)

Okay, some mp3 weren't responding to stripping the v1 tags. Many of my
mp3s had APE tags. I ended up using foobar under WINE to remove the APE
tags (the script for the linux apetag bulk operations was having trouble
with spaces in filenames). Problem went away. Interestingly, on many

I ended up using kid3 (even though I'm using gnome) to change v2.4 to
v2.3 tags - no luck with Rhythmbox.
Just resaving tags in easyTAG or Rhythmbox or Ex Falso gave good tags in
Amarok, but not in Rhythmbox (not persistent in Rhythmbox).
BUT when I REMOVED the v1 tags (using kid3), and then
I have the same problem with Rhythmbox 0.11.6 running Ubuntu Intrepid.
