Just tried burning an audio cd with brasero from flac files with jaunty. It
starts normalizing, normalizes two according to the tmp file and then writes
into that file:

Further testing reveals that this is not a flac thing. Behaviour with wav is
similar.
All that as in the above comment on an Acer Extensa 5220. One caveat is that
Jaunty is missing quite a few updates.
Gnomebaker burned the flac files fine. It did however later on crash twice.

I believe there is a warning about mmc in the boot messages. And it is
the second time I file such an semi-automated crash report. First one
iirc also about mmc. And it did not detect the SD card at about this
time though I really thought the forced shutdown had to do with me

There seems to be a rather widespread live-image regression since 2009-10-10.
Could you please look at bug 448495. I think it is the same. Mario, can you
start dbus, hal and gdm by hand as described in bug 448495? Do you think it is
the same bug?
