Tried deleting those files, added my accounts again, and this is what I
get from gwibber:

This was fixed when I last could start gwibber. It was updating
perfectly fine. Will let you know again when the other bug making it
crash before it starts gets fixed. But I think it's done/

Yes, I updated to the newest version, and it now starts, but it is still
not refreshing streams at all. I deleted my config files, so it isn't
any issue in there. It just isn't updating at all. No new errors either.

I think this is affecting me as well. When I sudo apt-get autoremove, it
removes nspluginwrapper, and doesn't remove flashplugin-installer. The

Thought I would try other things that run with gksu, and it turns out
that gparted doesn't work either. So clearly, the problem seems to be
with gksu, and not synaptic.

I am using Jaunty Beta. Just installed. Installed Nvidia 9500GT driver
(180.37), enabled compiz, and it seemed fine till I changed desktops.
Then it just crashed, and sent me back to metacity.

Ok, this seems to not be an issue anymore. I upgraded my graphics
driver, and sometimes it still goes to the command line instead of the
splash, but it still load gdm.

Basically, sometimes (when the ubuntu splash shows) ubuntu 8.10 beta
will load perfectly fine. However, when it doesn't show the splash (and
it seems to just be booting up anyway) it gets past the booting, and the
