Ok, so what's the point to have this program in the software center if it's to
have one of the major functionnality broken.

After a second fresh install I still had this bug. But I also noticed a crash
report for ibus on my first login. So what I have tried who seems to have fixed
this :
- delete the ~/.config/ibus folder
- launch from the command line ibus-setup and check the Use system keyboard

When i try to build the Lucid html documentation in french (changed the
LN=fr in the Makefile) i have sed errors for the switching documentation
who seems doesn't exist in french. (no build/switching/fr directory)
./scripts/fix-urls.sh -l fr
I started to look at how to build all this documentation, it's easy.
But it's using the default help.ubuntu.com theme which need to be changed.
There is also the switching from windows not translated and don't have po
files to be translated

The apt-cache can't access to the list of packages because your user
don't have enought rights to do this.
I don't know why this appening.
Need more experienced triager for this, but it's not a bash-completion
problem.

can you join the /etc/apt/apt.conf file (if this file exist) and say us
the read/write privilèges for this file ? Give us also the rights of the

I can confirm this issue on 8.10 and 9.04beta. Screem don't see
external modifications and don't realy load the files but an internal
