[Bug 672037] [NEW] [HDA-Intel - HDA Intel] ALSA test tone not correctly played back - no surround sound (5.1) since upgrade to maverick

Public bug reported: Since upgrade to maverick, 5.1 surround sund no longer works. I've reinstalled pulseaudio multiple times in a hope that would solve the problem. Everything i've tried has failed (including everything currently available on Google). Description:Ubuntu 10.10 Release:
