Confirmed in 10.04. ~/.gdesklets/logs directory is empty. I can't
believe this 3-year-old bug has not yet been fixed.

Since this also occurs in openSUSE it looks like this bug is upstream in
Gnome. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? So far we know:
- It occurs in the latest Ubuntu sporadically (for users with dual monitor
systems)
- It occurs in openSUSE
