I have the same error on CentOS5.2 hdc:DSC timeout - after searching around it seems this command might fix the problem echo dsc_overlap:0/proc/ide/ide0/hdc/settings but the problem for me is how do i get a console from the installer to issue the command - can anyone help/check this out -- KVM
