I am having the same problem in 10.04. I did not have it in 9.04.
Reloading the windows manager from the compiz icon always fixes it, but
I was just curious as to what causes this bug. Thanks.

Upon further testing, it turns out it was the Walnut Theme that was
the issue. When I tried other themes, the above problem went away.
