This error message is in syslog when the Desktop freeze before the
Display goes black and the login screen came up.
This apparently happens without any apparent connection. Sometimes not
for days even though the CPU is 100% full all the time, then again after
20-30 minutes

Crashed after installing a downoaded package.
After installing the package I closed software-center with Alt+F4.
Somtimes after the windows closed I became a crash report.

Under Ubuntu and Kubuntu 11.10 my scanner HP Scanjet 3670 not longer
work.
The scanner works under Ubuntu Natty, Maverick and (with a upgrade from
a PPA) in Lucid.
I have found that the scanner works under Lubuntu 11.10 and Xubuntu
i have Brasero 2.32.1 (from official repo for ubuntu 11.04) , still cant
add only video and image filetypes , i think allow add any file types
but show comment to momst users wants add only media files. But can add
what i want ! :)

i see in insert file manager - all files select, but when try add - i
can add only media files (i have poland language so dont paste message
here)

I have this problem today the first time.
It is an Samsung notebook with NVidia chip.
I using a new Lucid i386 installation (no upgrade from older Ubuntu
version) from a USB-Stick (with PAE-Kernel).
The second boot works perfect. No Strg-Alt-Fx work but the Power Button.

I have download the deb package again (file ist identical).
Gdebi not crash when opening the file.
At the day (1020-08-25) gdebi crash every time when I open the deb-file
and only by this deb-file. Opening other deb-files goes without any
problems.
So I can today (2010-08-28) not reproduce this
