Same here. Using 10.04 with evolution/exchange/mapi on an exchange 2007
server.
I get messages that look fine, but the reply I send is garbage - all in
html code. The message looks normal before I send. This happens if I

Same problem here. I can preview the image with xsane, configure
settings and start the scan using an HP scanjet 7400c. Then scanning
hangs and spits out an error during device I/O message.
Xsane scanning (which, by the way, makes me go IN-sane...), has worked
intermittently with this scanner for

Isn't that a bit extreme? Why not roll back to 8.10, or roll your nvidia
driver back to 180.11 (current working version in ubuntu 8.10)? There

Jaunty X highly unstable
I am experiencing what seems like the same issue with the latest build
of 9.04 with all updates. Rhythmbox with pulseaudio will hang the system
and go quiet. Everything is slow/unresponsive. After several minutes,
rhythmbox will resume and continue playing. Sometimes this takes 10-15
minutes.
Could this be the same issue as:

I believe this is the same issue I ran into with 9.04 after attempting
to upgrade from 8.10. I would experience lockups where the screen was
frozen and nothing moved but the mouse, or sometimes the mouse would
stick too. There was no way out of these other than a hard reset.
Back to running 8.10
Nope. Fresh install met with the same fate. Irrecoverable lockups
requiring hard resets. I'm going to try 64bit next and see what happens.

This is happening on two separate systems, one with ATI, the other with
NVIDIA. Both were running compiz at the time. I am on the nvidia machine

I am also having problems getting 5.1 sound. After messing with
'.asoundrc' and several other hacks, I was able to get 5.1 sound working
with a couple of players. However, now when I attempt to play something
with totem (xine), it kills 5.1 for the entire system. I end up with

Same problem here. With two 17 monitors which should display at
1280x1024, I ended up with one correct and the other showing 1600x1200!

This update incorrectly changed Grub on my system (as others have
experienced), and left me unbootable.
After reading the above, I changed the incorrect root entry in grub from
(4,1) to (0,1) which fixed it.
