Edit I fixed it. I turned the splash off by editing grub menu and
removing quiet splash and it turned it off. It turns out it was a
nvidia drivers error and reinstalling the drivers fixed everything. :)

I updated my comp today and when I rebooted my computer wont boot
ubuntu. Plymount screen comes up and the dots load one line then a gray
box pops up around the dots and goes away then it freezes. If I press
alt ctrl del it unfreezes and shuts
Is there a way to turn plymount splash screen off?

Alright I did that and it says its installed and in use but compiz
doesn't work.

@Alberto Milone, I completely removed the nvidia-current since it wasn't
working and tried the drivers from the site and it didn't work and when
it said that there was a fix out I removed the drivers from the site
(sudo nvidia-installer --uninstall) (that are working for -15 kernal)
and installed
1 more thing I tested it on -20 kernal

It looks like it is a gnome session problem. I installed KDM and tried
logging in but nothing other then Gpodder loads (No ktorrent, no gnome-
panel etc.).

I tried the workaround on the Plymount didn't change anything. This has
got to be a X prob.
I killed GDM and ran startx and it wouldn't start and here is the log
for it.

Not really. My install is even more messed up now because the drivers
don't work at all and X keeps crashed and I can't even get GDM working
properly. So my only option is fresh install.

I got the drivers from Nvidia's site, stopped GDM and ran
chmod +x driver name

I don't have any programs that don't run in the background, and even if
I had any 3D game it wouldn't works because the drivers are not in use.
When I tried running nvidia-settings -g nvidiasettings.conf

Ok, I am trying to connect a bluetooth headphones (Motorola 820) useing
the on board bluetooth manager, the problem is when I right click and
then left click on browse device... it shows my headphones and when i
click on the name of my headphones it tells me to type in the
