name exists in the target directory, then when the replace/rename/cancel
dialogue appears, all of the konqueror windows migrate to the current
desktop.

of gfortran. As a result the modules cannot be used.

Actually it's only dcraw that's out of date. UFRaw is at 0.18 which is
current according to the ufraw web page [UFRaw includes dcraw in its
source tree rather than relying on an external installation].

1) A LEXAR Jumpdrive 512Mb
2) A 4 GB Sandisk cruzer -- This is one of those devices with the irritating
U3 partition, but both windows are opened on the proper contents.
The machine is a spare parts box, with an ASUS mother board (I think)
with Nvidia nForce chipset.

I've now fixed the problem on my system (at least until I have to
reboot).
It turns out that the Master Clock in the Hardware Settings tab in
envy24control had defaulted to 22050, instead of 44100 -- resetting
there resolves the problem [I'd always that tab was only for digital
