I'm using a firefox profile on a windows share mounted via pam_mount.
With Ubuntu 9.10 and using the nobrl option I could use the profile without
problems.
After upgrading to 10.04 firefox can't read the bookmarks, history etc..

I at first got Problem discribed in #477104 here. Now I'm stuck with the

Following situation here:
Karmic Installation with wubi
Kernel is 2.6.31-14 (no other installed)
After booting grub says error: file not found
grub.cfg looked like garbage
Booted Ubuntu from Live-CD
Grup.cfg looks fine here. I tried to rewrite it anyway by doing the following
steps:

Okay, I thought ufw was enable during the samba installed. I did not install or
activate it manual.
I think it would be to hard to figure out why it was enabled on my system.
I second, that a firewall should not open any ports automatically without user
interaction.

If I install samba and samba suggests ufw, which in fact blocks samba the
default configuration isn't working.
The samba ufw profile should be activated by default or the user should get an
info that he has to do
