is instead exposed by kdetwitter.
I've had the problem come up from time to time without kdetwitter
running but it takes a lot longer, maybee 10 or more hours of use to

You'll get that error when there are no shared folders on your network.
I'd try sharing a folder to see if that helps. One thing though. It can
take a while for the shared folder to become visible so you might have

The problem your having is likely due to the cam your using being a v4l2
device where skype is most happy with v4l1 devices.
To get skype going with your device you should go to a console, and run the
following commands to launch skype.
(Make sure you quit skype if it's currently running.)

3 - Right clicked Pictures folder and selected Properties
4 - Selected Share Tab
5 - Selected Configure File Sharing button
6 - Request for password appeared - Entered password and requester disappeared

Well, that's a good thing. Maybe we can close this bug report.

I have noticed the behavior of kcmshell4 isn't erectly perfect in regard
to launching modules. At least it isn't very tolerant of
misconfiguration. Hopefully if I get time myself I can address this.

Mark, the followsing command will always fail -
sudo kcmshell4 fileshare
For it to succeed you must use kdesudo instead such as -
kdesudo kcmshell4 fileshare
and it should succeed.
When using Dolphin to share a folder, if you don't have kdenetwork-
filesharing then nothing will happen
Can you check to see if the following file exists on your system:
/usr/share/kde4/services/fileshare.desktop
I also agree about the fact that the user should be prompted to install
kdenetwork-filesharing if it's not installed but I also think that a
default Kubuntu install should have samba
Your fileshare.desktop seems to be exactly the same as mine.
You could also try kdesudo kcmshell4 filetypes or kdesudo kcmshell4
fonts just to see if the problems isolated to fileshare or not.

This bug still occurs using kmail from 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu3 from Hardy.
I have three transports, the third is set as default.
No matter which folder I redirect mail from, (each folder having
different transport settings), mail always get sent via the first listed
transport.

I also found that a new install of hardy with its ndiswrapper only
worked with open and not WEP or WPA networks.
I tried rolling back ndiswrapper-common and ndiswrapper-utils first to
1.43 and then to 1.38 and it didnt work.
However, then while still at ndiswrapper 1.38 I rolled back the kernel
