When launching
`ubuntu-support-status | grep Canonical

on 17.10 ou 17.04, the only outcome is back to prompt.
It could be useful to have at least an "expired" notice or a negative
countdown.
I tried to use the command as a learning tool for users who didn't
realize their

it merely empties the file one wants to remove and leaves an empty
theuglyppa.list file in `/etc/apt/sources.list.d/`

This is normal.
BUT :
If, a new update/full-upgrade is entered, apt suggests an autoremove for kernel
-1
If one performs the autoremove, it leaves the system with a single kernel :
:~$ dpkg -l | grep -Ei
To add precision in my post, autoremove removes the image image-extra
of the n-1 kernel.

Any trial to install fglrx provides the same crash : total freeze of the
desktop.
Only way to get out : root + chroot purge of fglrx. I had the same problem
with 13.10 - 14.04 provides no cure.

I sometimes launch several programs, then waiting for them to open.

Seems to work (thus to be included in) with kernel 3.12
Problem thus : with Saucy 13.10 signal 100% with Trusty 14.04 (kernel
3.12 included) signal 69% to 75% (My computer did'nt move and is less
than 2 meters from uptodate wifi box)

I installed it on my 13.10 - wifi works - didn't have to re-patch.
Could somebody confirm that kernel 3.12 is ok for rt3290 ?

Pulseaudio: high CPU usage

3.8.0-19 kernel
This bug causes up to 99% use of CPU.
On CPU Graph, it seems Pulseaudio monopolizes 1 core. (1 out of 2 on my
CoreDuo - 1 out of 4 on my ie3)
Workaround for now : pulseaudio --kill
