Same issue here with Sony WH-1000XM3 and Ubuntu 19.10.
When it connects automatically it connects with HSP and I'm not able to select
A2DP in Bluez.
However when I disconnect the headset using bluez and reconnect it as Audio
Sink, it works properly.

and the problem still occurs. However, I found a workaround and the
workaround is to mark a check next to the check box that reads quit orca
without confirmation and that allows orca to quit without any issues.

It's a bug do the following code of the .profile script not sets
$HOME/bin to the user env.
# set PATH so it includes user's private bin if it exists
if [ -d ~/bin ] ; then
PATH=~/bin:${PATH}
fi
OR because the above code must be removed from .profile because it's not
working as expected.

Reviewing again in our servers the .profile file, about 50 lines down of
default .profile, somebody of us export PATH again and thas make the big
mistake looking that as a bug.

time I can't replicate the conditions. Today I've commented out the alps
form xorg.conf and after a new session or after a warm or cold start
(making a lot of test) the touchpad is working as before I detect the
issue. The

I had the same problem as well with the installation freezing up at 15%. I came
across a post on psubuntu web site which helped me get around the problem. What
I did was, I went into administration system monitor and killed every process.
I did this by clicking on the first listed process and

functions.

Bad news guys. I have new information and I'm updating my last post.
It's not a bug. As you can see at:
http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManagerHardware
rt2500 drivers supports unencrypted and WEP networks when used with
NetworkManager. While the driver supports WPA, it does not use Linux
Wireless
I have the same problem in Festy beta.
Try to boot without X and the rt2500 work fine.
Workaround also works for me.
