@Vish if we switch the 'make link' (useless) entry with 'paste as link'
the situation -at least- won't change.
And I'd like to add that creating a link with the 'make link' option is
impossible if you don't have write access in the directory containing
what you are linking.

I also observe the same issue with ubuntu 9.04 under ext4 partition.
Pretty bad so far, I didn't know I can run update-grub so I actually
reinstalled my system twice now.

I still got it as of today with ubuntu 8.10 and firefox 3.0.8
It gets really bad that it hangs on almost every other minutes when I

Python2.5 version 2.5.2-2ubuntu5 is installed and there isn't the corresponding
version of python-dev (latest version is 2.5.2-2ubuntu4.1).
I did try to Force version 2.5.2-2ubuntu4.1 on python2.5 but it didn't work.
It looks like python2.5 2.5.2-2ubuntu5 shouldn't be

without errors but header files aren't there.

But there is no reason to support this hardware either. In my opinion it
