Okay, the problem was actually with the flash plugins from the repository and on my machine, which x86_64, I had to use the 64 bit flash plugin released by adobe. Solution: 1) Uninstall nspluginwrapper from Synaptics Package Manager ( This will remove flashplugins along with it). 2) Download 64
