I ran into this bug on a fresh install of Debian 8 (Jessie) RC2 on an
EeePC 701 4G with Intel i915GM graphics. Linux kernel 3.16, X.Org
1.16.4, X.Org intel module 2.21.15.
Using SNA instead of UXA, as suggested above, seems to still solve it:
# cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Section Device
Did the UVFe include QEMU 0.9.0 as requested in bug #85605? Or was the
decision not to include a working qemu-img binary in Feisty? Not seeing
it in Universe yet. Was this point missed?

I reproduce this bug every time using the 7.04 beta server install.
However the suggested device name workaround change to /dev/scd0
doesn't get me past the the Detect and mount CD-ROM step. Below are
the lsusb and lsscsi bash reports of my hardware using the 7.04 beta
desktop installation.
