I have just done a fresh installation of Mythbuntu 8.04.
According to the changelog of lirc 0.8.3~pre1-0ubuntu7 a patch for the
pad on iMON remotes should be included since 0ubuntu4, for some reason
it seems this patch doesn't work. My pad on the remote is not giving any
output when using irw

I have made a clean installation of Hardy 8.04, and installed the linux-
backports-modules-2.6.24 package.

I recently bought a Dell XPS M1530 (with preinstalled Vista). This
laptop has a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945 mini card.
I tried Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 6 on it (LiveCD), but the wireless card
doesn't work very well, often I have to reboot 3 or 4 times to get it up
and running.
