The usb_modswitch works, and no further action is performed as per syslog.
To be able to use it, it needs further command line actions:
1/ sudo modprobe option
2/ sudo chmod 0666 /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/option1/new_id

the problem is when it come back from suspend. I see the HDD led blinking for 2
