the /usr/share/applications/nm-ppp.desktop file needs to have a line
containing :
NoDisplay=true
The other network-manager-whatever packages desktop files has it this

I removed all evolution packages and saw that it removed bug-buddy. A
reinstall of bug buddy showed that it depended on evolution. I use
kontact / thunderbird and not evolution so don't want random libraries
installed.

This bug seems to behave better than before. Sometimes you can subscribe to
shared exchange calenders. But sometimes it either gives a generic error
message or it subscribes to it but cannot check the box to enable the viewing
of the calender.

Not all 3G cards are supported by the kernel by default but there are
drivers for these cards to work.
The Option Nozomi cards need the Nozomi drivers to be added, this is

What happens is, when you use a network callender ( exchange in our case ),
you can see your own callender. Then when you go to file you can 'subscribe'
to another callender. When you use this callender you must mark it to be used
in the callender screen, which is a mission because it does

Nope, nothing gets written to the status bar. Evolution effectively reacts
assif it has stopped responding. So the frontend doesn't do anything.
