If it is related to the other issue of dragged windows remaining on
screen, it may well be an OS issue having to do with screen
redrawing--that's something all 3 problems have in common--the os.
We should see if it exists on other OS versions of FF/Chromium.

Got it.
This may or may not be related to a similar effect which happens when
moving windows around, where the 'trail' of the moving window doesn't
get redrawn after the window moves on.

After deletion of the tabs to the right of the frozen tab, it leaves one
untitled tab to the right which cannot be deleted.
If another tab is opened to it's right, the tab may be deleted, but another
opens instantly.

I click on the list open tabs
The list pops up, and begins to scroll withou any regard to the direction I am
scrolling.
If I move the cursor to the up/down arrows, the scrolling will go the

While installing an add-in, during the actual installation process,
firefox generated an error panel and froze while using 80% cpu. Error
panel never actually displayed the error.
