>From a liveUsb I tried to erased the existing Ubuntu version (18.04). At
the end of the installation procees, I got an error about (on \dev\sd or
\dev\sb..). It may have a link with grub or the starying process? On
this computer there is also Windows 7.

Hi everyone,
Solution:
Boot the live-cd using params nomodeset xforcevesa
Install lucid
Reboot using params nomodeset xforcevesa
Install th proprietary NVIDIA driver
Switch to console and copy attached xorg.conf
Reboot and configure your display by using NVIDIA X Server Settings
(Administration)

Hi i just installed
linux-image-2.6.28-14-generic_2.6.28-14.47~lp385477apw1_i386.deb from
http://people.canonical.com/~apw//lp385477-jaunty/ on my laptop and after
reboot it works!!!
