My local settings are thus lost now and I have to once again look into this to reproduce them.>> Font Manager overwrites ~/.fonts.conf, moves it to ~/.config/font-manager/local.conf, but then proceeds to overwrite *that* file as well. Any custom settings you have may be lost. Very dangerous.
