Public bug reported:

When a program has unsaved changes and one logs out of Ubuntu (with
unity 2d) the Unity dock / menu is gone after cancelling logout.

Way to reproduce in Unity (2d in my case):

- Open Gedit and type some text
- Do NOT save
- Go to system icon and press 'Shut down...'
- System will tell you :
------
' a programm is still running:'
Gedit
This program is blocking logout
Waiting for the program to finish. Interupting the program may cause you to
lose work.

[Lock Screen] [Cancel] [Restart Anyway]
----
- The unity menu has already disappeared at this point
- Click 'Cancel'
- The Unity dock / menu won't come back

The sollution would be if the Unity menu would only hide after logout has been
confirmed
OR reshow unity after cancelling
