Thus, I don't think this bug will be fixed.

I have been able to reproduce this bug a lot of times today, by just
dragging a file from nautilus and dropping it into gwget. I tried
different kinds of files (html, tgz, exe, png), with the same results.
I hope that helps.

I tried installing the amd64 package, but it said: Error: Dependency
is not satisfiable: libdbus-glib-1-2

I see the same memory leak with gwget-0.98.1 in Ubuntu 7.04. I suppose
the memory leak is caused by buffering of wget output in memory.
