Public bug reported: Hi, the version that comes with ubuntu 12.04 has plenty of bugs, e.g. instable downloads, which are allegedly fixed in later versions. There's a newer package in ubuntu 13.04, which can't be installed on 12.04 due to dependency problems.
Please update or backport some newer version. Current version of apt- cacher-ng runs quite unreliably. regards ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: apt-cacher-ng 0.7.2-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-37.58-generic 3.2.35 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-37-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Feb 24 11:25:12 2013 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111011) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/tcsh SourcePackage: apt-cacher-ng UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-05-03 (296 days ago) ** Affects: apt-cacher-ng (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1132388 Title: Please update to newer version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt-cacher-ng/+bug/1132388/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
