Binary package hint: wireless-tools

My wireless card is working nice at home using WEP encryption. The problem is 
at the university where the wireless service is open and without passwords 
needed to get connected. I do not see the option to make it work without 
encryption and password needed. 
I tried also leaving blank the password and still is not working.
