In order to help that bug getting fixed, can you provide the following
informations?
1. Can you reproduce that problem with the Gutsy 7.10 release or the current
Hardy alpha release?
2. If this problem is not fixed in Gutsy
Usplash is the process during boot up. Since this user is having this
problem during boot up, I think it would be usplash. If it isn't then we
should change the package it affects, not close the bug it entirely.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. So you can not even get into the
live session? Which hardware are you trying to run the CD on? Did you check the
CD for errors by checking the MD5SUM?
