Public bug reported:

This seems to only affect when one is using Esperanto as the default
language.

Setups to reproduce:

1) Install Gnome Shell (I don't know if it only affects other DE. I will
check it out and update this)

2) Install Esperanto language pack

3) Make Esperanto your logging session
 (
4) Log out

5) Log back in

6) Lock screen (Ctrl + Alt + L )

6) Type password to unlock

a) Should display a symbol (*) to denote that it is receiving input, but 
instead it is blank
b) The password character is blank but by typing the correct password one can 
still unlock the lock-screen, so that means it is receiving the input correctly.
