Public bug reported: Binary package hint: koffice
In KWord, text in OpenType (*.otf) fonts will display on screen, but printing or exporting a PDF results in errors. I'm attaching a sample kword file, the resulting postscript file from the "print to file" option, and the resulting pdf file from the PDF export option. Also, when I try to export a PDF, I get the following error dialog: A print error occurred. Error message received from system: gs -q -dSAFER -dPARANOIDSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=$out{/home/alexg/otf test.pdf} -sPAPERSIZE=letter -c .setpdfwrite -f '/tmp/kde-alexg/kdeprint_mt0v2yWQ' : execution failed with message: Error: /invalidfileacces in /findfon Operand stack: UtopiaStd-BoldItalic-Uni-00 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- UtopiaStd-BoldItalic UtopiaStd-BoldItali Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nos ringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1889 1 3 %oparray_pop 1888 1 3 %oparr y_pop 1872 1 3 %oparray_pop 1755 1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- %errorexec_pop .runexec2 --nostringva -- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringva -- %array_continue --nostringval-- 1847 5 3 %oparray_pop Dictionary stack: --dict:1152/1684(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/ 0(G)-- --dict:188/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local Current file position is 9205 GPL Ghostscript SVN PRE-RELEASE 8.6 : Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Aug 17 09:53:02 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: kword 1:1.6.3-0ubuntu3 PackageArchitecture: i386 SourcePackage: koffice Uname: Linux wobbly 2.6.22-9-generic #1 SMP Fri Aug 3 00:50:37 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: koffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- displays but can't print .otf fonts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
