but people are you using loop aes. without loop-aes support i cant access my
filesystems. i dont see any reason why it was removed. it was an easy and
convenient way to build loop.ko modules.
anyway it is included in the next release, thanks. :)

loop-aes-source not available in Gutsy Gibbon
loop-aes-source isn't available in any Ubuntu version past 6.06, I
think, but you can get the loop-aes-source deb from Debian's testing
distribution, (http://packages.debian.org/testing/admin/) then just
install it with dpkg and build it using module-assistant. It worked for
me with 7.04, 7.10
This is how I do the package build for loop-aes. I'm just not sure why
it has been excluded... from my point of view it should be included in
Ubuntu.
