Just to clarify... I use Linux Debian Linux in this machine since 2
years... so the problem seem not to be related to this version of the
kernel... under Debian it works also with old versions

Hi, I just try to install the new Ubuntu 9.04 on my machine (where I
regularly use a Debian unstable/sid with a 2.6.29 vanilla kernel
recompiled by myself without any problem) and I have a similar problem
with the forcedeth driver.
I can't find no way to make it works.
