Thank you. This bug seems to have been resolved --- please mark it as
closed. Sadly a new bug has been exposed (probably as a consequence of
the bugfix and/or some regression) whereby any 'window' (i.e. context
menu, autocompletion popup etc.) that appears while Firefox is in the
F11 fullscreen mod
We are trying to get a freeze exception to get this in.

I've been using the patch for some time now and I haven't noticed any
regressions. This should definitely be fixed for hardy.

Note that bug persists on Hardy Beta (w/ all updates installed as of
2008-04-08). Since the patch has been released upstream since the 17th
of March, are the devs planning to apply it and release the updated
compiz package for Hardy final?

I have the same problem.
Ubuntu 7.10 desktop x86.
I noticed that when "paint fire on the screen" plugin is active, I mean while
it's 'burning', it works fine.

Bug persists on Gutsy Gibbon release. Xgl is not used. Note that this is
on a 64bit Gutsy Gibbons, a TwinView setup (2x 17" displays, 2560x1024
resolution w/ a Geforce 7600GT and NVIDIA's 100.14.19 drivers). I'm
attaching the .xession-errors after a fresh login.
