I believe that this bug has been corrected in Ubuntu hardy
openoffice.org 1:2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 so I am marking it as Fix Released.
If after upgrading you continue to have problems with this issue then
feel free to reopen this bug.

Thanks - en_US.UTF-8 works. I'm using en_ZA.UTF-8:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ export |grep LANG
declare -x GDM_LANG=en_ZA.UTF-8
declare -x LANG=en_ZA.UTF-8
I understand the solver dialog and graph tool are new in OOo 2.3.
Perhaps the translations don't have strings for these dialogs yet?
