Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

The connection to my universities 8021x network is unreliable. It works
sometimes, but most of the time when I try with NetworkManager it
doesn't even show signal strength in the network-monitor applet while
its connecting. On the other hand, if i start the connection with
wpa_supplicant the applet will show 90-100 signal strength but then have
an 'X' which means that it hasn't authd. This is with a Broadcom 4306
card using the bcm43xx kernel driver and Ubuntu Gutsy. I've driven
myself mad countless times trying to get this to work between classes.
I'm wiling to do anything neccessary to get this working reliably.

Thanks,
Spenser
