I just installed an Azureus update from gutsy-updates, and the launch
script is choosing icedtea by default. The bug in icedtea is apparently
not fixed, so Azureus crashes. Works fine with sun-java-6.

Some more details fwiw - using 32bit icedtea works as expected (I just
extracted the 32bit .debs from Ubuntu repos, also requires 32bit
libswt). And 64bit icedtea b22 (7~b22-1.5~20071018-0ubuntu3) crashes,
too - with a different crashlog, see attachment.

Thanks for the bug report. This looks like a bug in icedtea-java7 on
amd64.
As a temporary workaround for amd64 users, I am going to modify the
Azureus launcher script to try Java in the order sun-java6 sun-java5
icedtea-java7 /usr/bin/java
If you have any better ideas, I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks for marking this bug as a duplicate, I didn't notice the other reports
about icedtea/64 problems before, and I can confirm recompiling icedtea (b22
from icedtea.classpath.org's rcs) helps with this
