This affects ubuntu 18
I triggered this by choosing lvm as the install option, then pressing back when
it informed me about how it will configure the partitions, then selecting
"something else" then creating new partitions on the mapped lvm devices, then
pressing back then continuing with the
Think I got the same with Lubuntu 16.10, because grub-install is not present,
grub-pc
is not part of the DVD, and I was offline I got that dialog.
It is responsive (I can select any options) but if I select continue
installation, or
end installation, or close the window with close decoration,
I swear I reported this myself a few years ago but can't find it now.
It seems to be a race condition in ubiquity because if you respond to
the dialog quickly, it works, but if you wait a while, ubiquity appears
to continue doing other tasks in the background and at some point, the
dialog breaks.
