Open gnome-tweaks -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Set "Middle Click Paste" to OFF
It fixes the issue to me with terminator 1.91

Workaround those who use 18.04 :
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome-terminator/nightly-gtk3
$ sudo apt-get install terminator=1.91-0~1807~ubuntu18.04.1
$ sudo apt-mark hold terminator
