GTX1060 is quite new (release in 2018 Oct.) in comparison to the OS listed here
(16.04 released in 2016 Apr.) and 4.10 kernel is older than the card too.
Do you still have this issue with the latest 4.15 HWE kernel / proprietary
driver on Xenial?
